Our chapter recently brought together an inspiring group of emerging leaders for the Fall 2026 Undergraduate Summit! Under the leadership of 1st Anti-Basileus Denetra Taylor and the Undergraduate Concerns Committee, the event was designed to cultivate sisterhood, sharpen professional skills, and elevate chapter operations, the summit was a resounding success thanks to the dedicated planning, support, and implementation from our advisors.

With 33 undergraduates in attendance, the energy throughout the day was unmatched. We were especially honored to have Madam Basileus Nieka Davis and Madam Anti-Basileus TaMeca Joshua in attendance for the entire summit to support and inspire our undergraduate members.

The first half of the summit was packed with high-impact workshops focusing on personal development and sorority fundamentals: Attendees dove into How to Properly Present a Motion, ensuring confidence during official business meetings. Interactive discussions explored navigating Social vs. Sigma Business, helping members maintain healthy boundaries and academic excellence.

  • Looking the Part (The 3 P’s): A powerful session focused on Professionalism, Procrastination, and Preparation as key levers for success on campus and in future careers.

  • The Sigma Image: Members covered comprehensive standards regarding physical appearance, media presence, skin and hair care, campus representation, and proper stroll etiquette.

To wrap up the summit, Sorors gathered at Macy’s for an exclusive Part 2 experience blending professional style with self-care.

  • Bra Sizing & Education: Attendees received personalized sizing and education to ensure comfort and confidence in professional attire.

  • Sigma Image Challenge: Undergraduates put their fashion and presentation knowledge to the test in a fun image challenge.

  • Beauty Demonstration: The winner of the challenge received a complete makeup makeover, professionally facilitated by the Macy's beauty team.

  • Exclusives & Perks: Every attending Soror received a 20% discount on their Macy's purchases along with a special gift bag sponsored by Macy’s!

A huge thank you goes out to our undergraduate chapter advisors, chapter leadership, and all the Sorors who attended and made the Macy's Sigma Image Experience such a memorable success. We look forward to seeing our undergraduate leaders take these lessons back to their campuses!
