The Rhosebud Club is an affiliate group of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. consisting of a diverse group of girls ages 8 through 11 years of age.  Delicate like the petals of a rosebud, this affiliate group is handled with special care and attention.

What is the goal of the Rhosebud Club?

The Rhosebud  Club seeks to play a role in

helping to cultivate a diverse group of girls ages 8 through 11 years as

they grow into young ladies. The club aims to mold young ladies into well-rounded individuals that will embody the qualities needed to be good students and productive citizens, engaged

in their communities.

What are the qualifications to be a Rhosebud?

1. A girl must be invited by a member of the Rhosebud Club or a

Soror of the local chapter.

2. Submit a completed application

3. Exhibit good standards of character and conduct

4. Show willingness to follow all rules and regulations of the Rhosebud

Club and participate in Rhosebud sponsored activities.

5. Must be between the ages of 8 through 11 years old.

How much  does it cost to join the Rhosebuds?

The Alpha Sigma Rhosebud club local dues are 25 dollars per year.

 

How often do you take new members?

New members have two opportunities per year, in the fall and in the

spring.

What are a Rhosebud s' responsibilities once accepted?

Attending monthly meetings

By sharing ideas

Joining in team activities.

Participating in sponsored activities

Participation in National Projects i.e. Swim 1922 & the Youth Symposium

Participate in Community Outreach events

 

What are the advantages of joining the Rhosebud Club?

The advantages of joining the Rhosebuds are to empower young girls

by building healthy self-esteem, relationships, leadership abilities and

strong self-confidence. Activities throughout the year include

community service projects and social activities.
