Dear Alpha Sigma Chapter Sorors,
My name is Tonya Willis. I am a native of South Bend, IN. In 2001, Alpha Sigma became my home chapter. From day one I was encouraged to lead. It is with great honor that I am running as a candidate for Alpha Sigma chapter’s Nominations Chair for the 2026 - 2028 term.
For more than two decades I have had the privilege of leadership experience as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and my most recent experience as a member of the Nomination Committee, I bring both knowledge and a current understanding of our chapter’s evolving needs.
My slogan, “Building a Table for Leadership,” reflects my commitment to creating space, access, and a fair, unbiased opportunity for all members to grow into leadership roles.
My platform centers on three key priorities: fairness and transparency, leadership development, and process efficiency.
I am passionate about creating opportunities for our members to grow, lead, and serve. It would be an honor to contribute to our chapter in this capacity and help build a strong, prepared, and inspired slate of future leaders.
