Who Is the Candidate? | Yolanda Snowden for Nominations Committee Chair
As we approach this important election, I wanted to take a moment to formally reintroduce myself and share why I am seeking your support for Nominations Committee Chair.
I am proud to be a Gary, Indiana native, a mom, a Higher Education Student Affairs professional, and Alpha Sigma born and bred with a deep love for our chapter and our sisterhood.
Throughout my years of service, I have had the honor of holding and leading several roles that have prepared me for this opportunity, including:
• Indiana Area Coordinator• 5th Anti Basileus (Gamma Zeta Advisor)• 6th Anti Basileus (Epsilon Chi Advisor)• Epistoleus• Committee Chair and Co-Chair roles across chapter initiatives
These experiences have strengthened my leadership, organization, and commitment to excellence. Being a mother has also deepened my ability to lead with patience, balance, accountability, and heart.
If elected, I will ensure a nominations process rooted in fairness, transparency, integrity, and efficiency.
