The next step to getting #voteready is making sure you know who is on the ballot.
The 2026 General Election is approaching and being prepared means knowing who is on your ballot and who you are voting for. Through our Social Action Elections Campaign, we are providing researched, nonpartisan election information to help our community become informed and prepared voters. Too often, we don't know every candidate on our ballot until we're standing at the polls. Alpha Sigma Social Action challenges you to change that.
Why it Matters
Knowing who is on your ballot allows you to make an informed decision before you enter the voting booth. Taking time to learn about each candidate’s background, priorities, and positions helps you understand who is seeking to represent your community and the responsibilities they would hold. Your vote is your voice—know who you’re giving it to.

Alpha Sigma in Action
The Alpha Sigma Social Action Committee will be available following Chapter Meetings to assist Sorors with verifying their voter registration status and accessing voter resources. We are prepared to do the research so you don't have to.
